WHY GASOLINE ALLEY IN RED DEER COUNTY?
  High levels of existing daily traffic volumes on adjacent roads; 40,000 on QEll Highway, 8000 on Mackenzie Road/TWP 374.  This is comparable to the volumes on the busiest roadways within the City of Red Deer.
IS THERE ANY FUTURE RESIDENTIAL LAND USE PLANNED?
Existing and future land use includes a mix of residential, commercial and light industrial.  Currently West Gasoline Alley has 63 new residential units constructed and the second phase is in progress.  Plans approve for up to 8,000 residents in a mix of single and multi-family housing units.

IS THERE PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION?
Gasoline Alley is serviced with the City of Red Deer Transit, with low-floor bus service connections between the Bower Mall Transfer Station (33 times daily).
LOCATION?
Direct access to the bedroom communities of Springbrook (7km) and Penhold (10km) via Highway 2A.  McKenzie Road (TWP 374) on the south side of Gasoline Alley, operates as the southeast ring road for the major residential area in the southeast quadrant of the City of Red Deer, providing direct highspeed access to Gasoline Alley.
WHAT ARE THE CURRENT ROADWAY IMPROVEMENTS?
Currently the $110 Million dollar roadway project has been completed for the QEll Highway and Gaetz Avenue Interchange, the Highway 2A and 19th Street Intersection, and the Laura Avenue Construction between Lantern Street and Leva Avenue.  These improvements will provide a safer, higher capacity and more efficient access to and from Gasoline Alley.
